"Leading review here as Listen360 review buried, or not visible on their website. Took bike in for a QUOTE only. They did the work without contacting us. They damaged the gear cable unnecessarily then had the nerve to charge for the labour and replacement. They crimped the end of the new cable poorly and have left less than 1 inch of cable end so it can't even be redone properly without replacing the gear cable again! 2 stars instead of 1 star since the job that needed doing was done to a good standard. Just don't appreciate being ripped off. From my experience, do not take your bike here for repairs, they hope you know nothing about how to maintain a bike so they can rip you off. Edit to reply to Peddlers: Frame would not have been written off. If the frame barrel adjuster boss could not be retapped, then an inline barrel adjuster on the cable outer would have sufficed, hence the request for confirmation if this was a possible solution and requesting a quote ahead of time. To your point, yes you were happy to refund at the time, as long as you were able to remove the new cable before hand. After my old working cable was snipped unnecessary."

"Energising bike shop. A family business dedicated to cyclist who need professional advice, from road cycling to electric comuting or MTB leisure pleasure. I ride gravel tracks, 2 meters tall so I required a hand build. They imported a XXL Salsa from the States and built it up with Hope kit and down hill Mavik wheels and Marathon tyres, The 30 gears get me up hill and down dale across the North Yorkshire Moors. I have also bought a Tern cargo bike from Peddlers which I use to take the young Grandchildren out at weekends. Wonderful F1 type servicing and engerneering department which is the backbone of any cyclists bike shop partnership."
