Starting life on the slopes of Schladming, the Burgtec flat pedals have evolved through the MK1 to the now MK5 version. Each step in this evolution has been about improving grip, endurance and handling. The MK5 takes this to another level, shaving off 65 grams per pair from the previous model, extending the platform footprint by 7% and reducing the pin width for a more assertive grip.

We've also responded to your feedback, adjusting the Q-factor to enhance foot positioning and comfort. Experimenting with multiple platform sizes, pin widths and pin heights, we've found the perfect balance offering unrivalled grip.

The internals of the MK5 didn't escape our rigorous innovation process either. The wear-resistant bushings from Igus, coupled with a full-contact oil seal, keep mud and water out, maintaining optimal performance even under harsh conditions.
